Our masterplan invites the world to discover wonder at central London’s largest cleared development site, which will include:

  • An inspiring multigenerational neighbourhood with c. 4,000 new homes including affordable housing across a range of tenures

  • A showcase for climate and clean innovation and skills with 2.5 million sq. ft. of flexible workspace contributing to around 12,000 jobs on site

  • A celebration of nature, with twenty acres of public open space and green space, people first streets and squares, over 1,000 new trees and a flower amphitheatre

  • Three new cultural and performance venues, providing an ecosystem for the future of creative talent, and up to 100 shops, cafes and restaurants

We'd like to thank everyone that has participated in our consultation to date; the feedback and suggestions received have helped shape the masterplan proposals contained within these applications. We will continue engaging with local residents to shape the next planning applications - community workshops will start again next month and we will provide further details soon.

The two Local Authorities are now carrying out a period of statutory consultation in which you can share your views directly with them before they take a decision on the planning applications. You can view the detailed planning documents and leave your feedback directly on their online planning portals:

You can also view key documents from the Hybrid Planning Application on our website here.

We will be opening a new exhibition at Conversation Corner, Lillie Road (opposite Hotel Lily), so if you’d like to view our proposals, browse through printed copies of the key planning documents and talk to the ECDC team in person, please visit during the dates and times below.

Conversation Corner will be open this week on Friday from 12pm to 6pm and on Saturday from 12pm to 4pm; it will then remain open on Thursdays (12pm - 6pm) and Saturdays (12pm - 4pm) until 30 November.’
