Sunday 3rd November 12:30-1:45pm – Fulham Palace guided history tour around the external site and through the Palace’s historic interiors. Explore the Victorian chapel, Tudor great hall, Georgian dining rooms and our museum with thousands of years of artefacts on display. Tickets are £8 for adults and £6 for students. Tours are regular and more dates can be found online.
Wednesday 6th November 7:00pm – As detailed above, we will be holding the Fulham Society AGM at St Dionis Church. The formal meeting will be followed by a talk from our former MP of 19 years, Greg Hands.
Thursday 7th November at 11:00am – Free local walk along Hammersmith Riverside with well-known local historian Keith Whitehouse. Email info@fulhamsociety.org for further info about timings, meeting points.
Tuesday 12th November 2:00-3:00pm – Haed to Fulham Palace for an autumnal tree walk with head gardener Lucy Hart and explore the wonders of their 13-acre garden. From old oaks to unique species, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the natural history and significance of the Palace’s historic trees. Tickets are £8.
Saturday 16th November10:00am-4:00pm – The Hammersmith Winter Festival is back with live music throughout the day, pop up markets and entertainment in Lyric Square and on King Street.
Sunday 1st December 2:00-3:30pm – The festive season begins with the annual camels procession put on by St Etheldreda with St Clement. The procession starts at the church, pauses at The Crabtree and finishes at Bishops Park. Join us as we sing through the streets with steel drums and Fulham Brass band!
